正念靜觀是有意識地覺察自己的身心狀態,以平等心接納所有狀況,並以愛和智慧去回應一切。
持續修習可以提升自我覺察力、自我關懷和心理穩定性,減低盲目的情緒反應、偏執和自我批判心。
Mindfulness is a way to befriend with ourselves, with the world and to live a life with meaning.
Mindfulness is to consciously aware of our body & mind, to accept everything with equanimity, and to respond with compassion and wisdom. Mindfulness practise increase self-awareness, self-compassion and psychological stability, and reduce temper tantrum, bias and self-criticism.

表達藝術讓不同能力的人一起修習正念靜觀
表達藝術透過音樂、視藝、舞蹈、戲劇及文字創作引導五感覺察,促進服務使用者進入「心流」狀態。在治療空間內,透過自由的藝術表達將內心世界真實地呈現眼前,增進服務使用者的自我認識,加強自我接納和自我關懷。
表達藝術如何融合不同能力的人一起修習正念靜觀?

彈性的靜觀方式:有些人不適合閉起眼靜觀(如:焦慮感較重的人士、或以手語溝通的聽障人士)。表達藝術可以配合不同人士的需要,以不同的藝術媒介更彈性地引導靜觀體驗,讓所有人都能感受到靜下來的好處。

容易集中:表達藝術引導服務使用者集中於身體感覺和動作,讓專注力弱的人士更容易進入靜心的狀態。

容易理解:將靜觀的抽象概念化為畫面、動作、聲音、故事,讓不同年齡及能力的人士容易理解靜觀

Expressive Arts let all abilities practise Mindfulness together
Expressive arts facilitates mindful awareness in five senses through music, visual arts, dance, drama and creative writing, bring service users into the "Flow" state. Arts expression in the therapeutic space makes service user's inner world visible, improve service user's self-understanding, increase self-acceptance and self-compassion.
How do Expressive Arts include different people in Mindfulness practice?

Flexibly approaching mindfulness: meditating with the eyes closed may not be suitable for everyone (e.g. for those who are anxious, or for deaf person who communicates with sign languages) . Expressive Arts can induce mindful experience with different art medium following different people's need, helping everyone experience the benefit of Mindfulness.

Easier to concentrate: Expressive arts captivate service user's attention through sensations & actions, it is easier to bring calmness and stillness to people with attention-deficit.

Easier to understand: Translating Mindfulness into images, sound and story, making the concept understandable for all ages and abilities.
